Food Process Engineering and Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering

This program is designed for students who aspire to enter the modern food industry, integrating knowledge across food science, food process engineering, and industrial engineering. It aims to develop graduates who understand everything from raw material quality, production processes, and quality control to plant design, as well as planning and optimizing industrial-scale production systems.

Students will gain knowledge in both food science and technology alongside engineering concepts, including food processing operations, heat and mass transfer, production tools and systems, quality control and assurance, production planning, industrial safety, engineering economics, work study, and operations research.

Applicants interested in the double degree program can begin by applying to the Food Process Engineering Program, Faculty of Food Industry, King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) through the institution’s admission system according to the specified admission rounds.

Application Process

  1. Apply to the Food Process Engineering Program through the TCAS system
    Applicants must apply for admission to the Bachelor of Science Program in Food Process Engineering, Faculty of Food Industry, KMITL, according to the institution’s admission schedule.
  2. Follow announcements for the double degree program
    After enrolling in the Food Process Engineering Program, the department will announce the application period for students interested in joining the double degree program.
  3. Submit application for the program
    Eligible students can submit the application form and required documents as specified by the department.
  4. Selection and interview process
    Applicants who meet the initial qualifications will proceed to the selection process, which may include academic performance review, applicant qualifications, and an interview.
  5. Announcement of results

  • Background in Science–Mathematics program
